Steel is used widely and exhaustively in the oil and gas industry. As a procurement company we are asked on a daily basis to quote for the supply of steel pipeline fittings. The UK and Europe has many excellent manufacturers and distributors of steel pipeline fittings. Worldwide Procurement Service UK Ltd has formed good relationships with suppliers. Pipelines play a huge part in the transportation of oil. Oil production companies have maintenance teams working 24 hours a day on emergency and planned maintenance of pipelines. The list of materials required for the maintenance, improvement and laying of new pipeline is extensive.
Steel fittings are also specified for use within refineries and gas installations. Wherever an energy product needs to be transported, steel in one form or other will be formed to assist in its journey from oil or gas field to refining and onwards to the end users.
