SHIPPING STEEL
Because of the weight of steel products/sheets the most effective and cheapest way to ship is using containers. Shipping steel plate and steel
products requires careful planning. Additional costs will be involved in loading and unloading the products due to the weight involved. A 20 foot container will not necessarily use all of the volume available due to weight constraints (weight load 21 MT).
For particularly large sheets the only option could be conventional shipping.
